LGN’s Great Ideas
I love the chartreuse mats with the vintage bookplates ( I think a paprika colored mat would be cool too). I have some bookplates that I got off Etsy for super cheap and now I have some direction to go with them. I just need to find some cheap frames (at least six):) Check out LGN for the rest of the tutorial.

Billy Bookcase Hack
Saw this on Our house. Love this Ikea hack. I’ve seen quite a few but I really liked this one. The added molding and bead board makes it all custom but way cheaper.

Cool Lights
Saw this picture on Pinterest and loved how the lights looked. They reminded me of these West Elm lights……..I wonder if you can do the same thing as far as swinging/ hooking the lights. Creates a cool effect, especially if you did a few of them.

Skirted Tables
So what do you think of skirted tables? I see them everywhere now and designers are drooling over them. I think anything that looks tailored with gorgeous fabric is always a winner. I love what Jenny did with an old shelf. Looks beautiful!
Bryn Alexander skirted her nightstands. I do like how it breaks up all the wood……it’s nice when you achieve that balance in a space. See the rest of her bedroom project here.

So Pinteresting
What a great idea for a DIY coffee table. It seems like it wouldn’t be that difficult to find one of these wooden pallets for free. You could paint it or stain it…..then put some big casters on it. I want to do it. Just no where to put it:(
Another one of those cool painted floors…..so awesome!
Future projects? Maybe.

Tutorial….joy to the world map project
I just saw this on Emily’s blog. It’s the tutorial on the map project………..I talked about in an earlier post.
I failed to mention how I did my letters. They stenciled/ painted theirs……and I used stiff felt from the fabric store and cut my letters out. I think my way was a little easier……..stencils and paint don’t sound fun to me. Anyways, check out her blog for more ideas for decking the halls this season. Pretty cool!
