The Fancy House Road girls did a holiday tutorial………..I think it goes for any special occasion though. If only I had some place to go……I don’t……..and I prefer my couch…… most of the time anyways:) But dressing up is fun. I love her dress….so classic and modest. She looks so soft and elegant. She even shows you how to so a sock bun….. I had no idea it literally meant using a sock.

Pretty uneventful week so far. I did sell Naaman’s toddler bed (he wouldn’t stay in it)….. It’s just nice not having it take up space. So I guess that was exciting…..and then didn’t even try to negotiate:). Anyways…..my dress is from DownEast…… Which I love because it’s such a versatile piece. I could combine with so many different shoes, cardi’s, and accessories. And it works with my growing baby (26 weeks).

Love, love, love this dress. It would be such a great versatile piece for the wardrobe. The color is fantastic and would work for spring and fall.

Try not to look at that crooked picture in the background….. It’s the blouse I love and my cheetah print heels. I wore this to church (that’s about the only time I dress up) and afterwards I saw my husbands cousin and he said he loved my shoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had a guy compliment my shoes. He said he loves shoes but his wife didn’t really care and he wish she did. What husband wants his wife to like shoes? Then he asked if they were real? That caught me off guard……who wears real anything today? …. Faux is in!
